Tigem Next Generation Sequencing Facility

The Next Generation Sequencing Core (NGSC) uses High-Throughput Sequencing technology in order to explain the various functions of genes and their roles in pathology. It produces an immense volume of analyzable data and is involved in both functional and structural genomics. This allows us the greater possibility of identifying novel genes. The "Total Award" amount indicated for this project represents the share of the funding of the Telethon Foundation for research by the Tigem institute from July 2016 until last budget year, calculated based on the size of the research group.
